Aubergine Bamboo Shoulder Wrap

SOME NOTES -
I finally got around to publishing this pattern!
I am so pleased to have received so many requests for details in Ravelry! I updated the project details there too to see how many faves, queues and projects exactly there are :)

About the yarn -
I saw this yarn at the Knitterly Yarn Store in Petaluma, CA, and instantly fell in love with the whole color and texture - not to mention I have a little (read: massive) Habu fetish going on. I bought the only 2 skeins they had on hand and cast on in the car on our way back home.

About the wrap -
It is/was the first triangular shawl/wrap I ever made and since then I have been hooked. I did not follow any particular pattern, just kind of winged it. But the final product turned out just right. It fits me exactly like I imagined it would/should. It is a simple stockinette triangle with increases along the edge and around the middle spine.

About blocking -
I did not feel the need to block the wrap, since in my opinion, DK weight bamboo has enough drape to straighten itself out. I have washed it though, just a soak in cold water and lay flat to dry, and did not see ANY difference in the yarn after the wash.
